Her new film The Bling Ring opens on Thursday, Un Certain Regard, the selection that will be shown alongside the competition. The film Young and Beautiful by French director Francois Ozon will be shown in the official competition on Thursday. The second competition film that has its gala premiere on Thursday is the Mexican drama Heli, about a young father and his family who are kidnapped. The film by director Amat Escalante is co-produced by the Dutch company Lemming Film.
