Matthias Schoenaerts will play a former prisoner of Guantanamo Bay in the drama Alive Alone. The Belgian actor has the leading role alongside Swedish actress Noomi Rapace, writes the American film and TV site Deadline.
Alive Alone is about the relationship of a troubled terrorist, played by Schoenaerts, who has doubts about his terrorist plans.
The drama is written by Khurram Longi, who will also be directing it. The film is scheduled to shoot in New York in January.
