Oscar winner Anthony Hopkins will play beer magnate Freddy Heineken in a new film about the kidnapping of Heineken. The film is based on the book by Peter R. de Vries. Producer Embankment Films reported this on Sunday. The title of the film is The Kidnapping of Freddy Heineken. The English-language production is directed by Swedish director Daniel Alfredson, who previously filmed the last two parts of the Millennium trilogy. The shooting will partly take place in Amsterdam.
