Quentin Tarantino's film Django Unchained will be released in China on May 12. A few weeks ago the film was pulled on release day. The authorities then gave the reason that there were 'technical problems'. "We thank the authorities for quickly resolving the issue," Sony Pictures said in a statement. The film was approved before release, after some adjustments that reportedly contained less violence. The adjustments were said to have been made in consultation with Tarantino.
