Comic artist and publisher Carmine Infantino, creator of the famous black and yellow Batman logo, has died at his home in Manhattan at the age of 87. Infantino has given many cartoon characters their current form. In the 1960s he managed, among other things, to revive the comic book character Batman, which dates from the 1930s. He is therefore also considered 'the man who saved Batman'.
