The shoot of her English-language film The Fifth Estate was completed on Saturday. The film, in which Carice van Houten plays, was largely shot in Belgium thanks to the Belgian tax shelter, a tax measure that makes it attractive to invest money in films in that country. The Netherlands does not have this measure. A proposal from D66 to investigate this was rejected by the government parties VVD and PvdA. In addition to Van Houten, German actor Daniel Bruhl (Goodbye Lenin!) plays in the film about the life of WikiLeaks founder Julian Assenge.
