The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences' online voting system continues to cause problems. The organization has given members an extra day to cast their votes for the Oscar nominations. Filmmakers previously announced that they were unable to log in to the Academy site due to problems with the password. The Academy fears that the problems will lead to a low number of votes. The club has more than 5,500 members, who can vote for the Oscars nomination round until Friday. "By extending the deadline, we are taking every opportunity to smooth the transition to online voting," the Academy said.
