The film "Amour" by Austrian director Michael Haneke has been voted the best film of 2012 by fourteen Flemish film critics. The film about an older couple made it into the traditional end-of-year list of the monthly magazine Filmmagie, a street length ahead of the rest. "Jagten" by the Dane Thomas Vinterberg and "Elena" by the Russian filmmaker Andrei Zvyagintsev are in second and third place respectively on the list. Fourth and fifth are the Romanian "Beyond the hills" by Christian Mungiu and the Turkish print "Once upon a time in Anatolia".
