'De rouille et d'os' - in English 'Rust & Bone' - by Jacques Audiard, with the Belgian Matthias Schoenaerts and Marion Cotillard in the leading roles, was voted best film at the London Film Festival. The outsider romance between a 25-year-old nightclub bouncer (Matthias Schoenaerts) and a beautiful female orca trainer (Cotillard) was a hit with the jury. "A film full of life, violence and love," it said. For top French director Jacques Audiard, it is the second time in four years that he has won the main prize at the London film festival. In 2009 his film 'Un Prophète' won.
