The British National Media Museum in Bradford, England has presented a color film that must have been made in 1901 or 1902. This makes it the oldest known color film. These are prototypes of a process invented by the English photographer Edward Turner. He developed a process in which the film camera filmed through colored filters. By projecting those red, green and blue frames in the same place, the illusion of a color film was created.
