The film 'La Fille de nulle part' by French filmmaker Jean-Claude Brisseau won the Golden Leopard, the prize for the best film, at the Locarno film festival in Switzerland on Saturday. The organizers have announced this. The film beat 18 other entries in the official selection. 'Somebody up there likes me' by American director Bob Byington received a special prize from the jury. The 35-year-old Chinese Ying Liang won the prize for best director with the film 'When Night Falls'.
