Television producer John de Mol's plans for a television series in which foster children choose their foster parents have been shelved. A spokesperson for the Dutch production company Talpa confirmed this on Saturday. De Mol devised a program in which foster children from the age of 12 could choose their foster parents. But the plan for the program was met with much criticism
