During the shoot of 'The Birds' and 'Marnie', Alfred Hitchcock made unwanted advances on leading actress Tippi Hedren, the actress revealed fifty years later. Because Hedren refused to comply with Hitchcock's sexual requests, he prevented her from working for another director. "He was a very sad person," Hedren explains during the screening of the HBO film 'The Girl'. The film shows how Hitchcock forces Hedren into a kiss in the back seat of a car during the shoot of 'The Birds' and later asks her to 'make you sexually available to me'.
