CineGrid is organizing an event in September where 'cinema, video, science and business come together around the production, transmission and exhibition of extremely high-resolution video'. The theme of the annual Cinegrid Event is: the future with 4K. CineGrid Amsterdam joins a global network. The organization is committed to producing and distributing 4K digital film with super resolution and extremely high sound quality. CineGrid Amsterdam was developed by Waag Society, SURFnet, SARA and the UvA, in collaboration with a large number of public and private parties.
