Throughout August, shooting for the new film Matterhorn will be made in the Prosperpolder on the border of Nieuw Namen and Kieldrecht. The script was written by Diederik Ebbinge of the cabaret group De Vliegende Panters. He knows the area from his youth. Matterhorn is a tragicomedy about widower Fred, who befriends wanderer Leo. The telefilm will be broadcast by VPRO in 2013.
