The short film Rotkop by Jan and Raf Roosens has won the prize for best short film at the Guanajuato International Film Festival. The film had its international premiere in Mexico. Because the festival is recognized by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences (AMPAS), the organizers of the Oscars, the winning short film is automatically eligible for next year's Oscars. The Flemish Audiovisual Fund announced this on Friday.
