German actress Susanne Lothar (51) has died. Her lawyer announced this in Berlin on Wednesday. Lothar played, among other things, in the film Das weisse Band (2009) by Michael Haneke. On TV she played in several episodes of the popular police series Tatort. She also performed as an actress in renowned theaters such as the Burgtheater in Vienna and the Thalia Theater in Hamburg.
