It has never happened that no fewer than four French films are in the top twenty of most visited films in the Netherlands. French films are doing extremely well in the Netherlands. The absolute leader at the moment is of course the film hit Intouchables. Nearly a million tickets have been sold in the Netherlands alone for the beautiful story with Omar Sy and François Cluzet. In the wake of this feel-good film, other French films are also achieving good attendance extras: Jacques Audiard's De rouille et d'Os with Marion Cotillard, among others, is a great success at the cinemas.
