British actor Simon Ward has died after a long illness.
The actor, who appeared in the 2010 series The Tudors as Bishop Gardiner, has turned 70. Ward made his breakthrough in 1972 with his role as Winston Churchill in the film Young Winston. He even received a Golden Globe nomination for this.
