At least ten people were shot dead in a shooting during the premiere of the latest Batman film in the American city of Aurora near Denver. The shots were fired shortly after midnight. One man has been arrested. He was said to have been masked during the shooting. According to eyewitnesses, he wore a bulletproof vest and set off smoke bombs and tear gas grenades.
