Actor Rajesh Khanna, considered the first superstar of Bollywood and Hindi cinema, passed away on Wednesday at the age of 69. Indian media reported this.
Khanna had been ill for months. It was not clear what exactly was wrong with him, but he probably had cancer. He died at his home after being released from hospital on Tuesday.
