The German cinema group CinemaxX is being taken over by its British sector colleague Vue Entertainment. It makes an offer of 6.45 euros per CinemaxX share. That offer has the support of majority shareholder Herbert Kloiber. The merger of the two companies creates a pan-European group with 119 cinema complexes and almost 1,100 screens.
