The Flemish government has approved the multi-year cultural subsidies for the period 2013-2016. 94.5 million euros will be allocated, or 7.5 million more than anticipated. Originally, a budget of 87 million euros was provided for the multi-year subsidy round. This has now been increased to 94.5 million euros. This includes the Flanders International Film Festival (700,000 euros).
