Crime Scene Investigation has been awarded an International Television Audience Award for the most watched drama series in the world. This became apparent on Thursday during the awards ceremony in Monte Carlo, where the award was received by actor Ted Danson. It is the fifth time that CSI has won the prize. According to the organization, more than 63 million people watch the series worldwide. The series competed in the category with its own spin-offs CSI NY and CSI Miami.
