According to the AFP news agency, the cinema has now confirmed the closure without providing further details about the reason for the closure. When the ban was announced last Sunday, the police spokesperson said that the "vulgar behavior" of the men in the cinema halls during the matches makes it "inappropriate" to allow women to watch.
