The festival starts on Friday evening with the performance of 'Quand je serai petit', directed by Jean-Paul Rouve. After this film, the open-air screening of 'Golem', the 1920 classic, will take place on Heilig Kruisplein. The soundtrack of the silent film is played live by the French trio NFL3. The film festival is actually already in its 38th year, but because the organizers decided to change course in 2003, the counter was also reset to zero. And that means that the Brussels Film Festival is celebrating an anniversary edition this year.
