George Lucas no longer wants to make big-budget films. The American director is leaving his production company LucasFilm - which will continue to exist.
The Star Wars creator became disillusioned with large-scale filmmaking when he failed to find backers for his latest project, 'Red Tails'. Ultimately, Lucas forked out $58 million to get the film to the big screen. Lucas is also leaving his production company LucasFilm.
