In Cannes the Ecumenical Jury Prize was awarded to the film 'Jagten (The hunt)' by Thomas Vinterberg. The Ecumenical Jury consists of six Catholic and Protestant filmmakers and critics and awards a prize every year to films about the big questions of life. The Ecumenical Jury and the Fipresci Film Critics Association traditionally present their awards on Saturday, a day before the Palme d'Or is presented. 'Hunting' also qualifies for this. The film 'Beasts of the Southern Wild' by 25-year-old Benh Zeitlin received a special mention;
