Israeli authorities have arrested the head of the Palestine Prisoner Channel in his hometown of Jenin (in the West Bank). Bahaa Khairi Moussa was arrested at home and it is unknown where he is currently being held. It is also unknown what exactly he is suspected of. The Palestine Prisoner Channel (PPC) has only been broadcasting for a month and reporting on Palestinians in Israeli captivity. Equipment was reportedly seized, but the channel switched to backup equipment. The channel has a valid license from the Palestinian authorities. The CPJ, an organization that fights for press freedom, condemned the arrest.
