The Belgian town of Damme is cooperating with the planned shoot of the feature film entitled The Bombardment by the Dutch director Ate de Jong. The film is set in the May days of 1940, just before and during the bombing of Rotterdam. The shooting for the film is planned at various locations, including Rotterdam, Budapest, but also in Damme.
