An edition of Cannes is not complete without at least one rainy day, to compensate for the overdose of sun. But downpours on the third day (and no prospect of improvement throughout the weekend) is something that most scenarios do not take into account. All outdoor photo shoots and press moments had to be quickly moved indoors and the boulevard was suddenly marked by a jungle of umbrellas.
