Beklemek (Waiting), the documentary by director Bülent Öztürk, has won the Award for Best Documentary at the TRT Documentary Days in Istanbul (May 3 - 7). The six-member jury of the national competition, consisting of Turkish directors, film critics and academics, ultimately chose Beklemek from six documentaries. The trophy in Istanbul carries a cash prize of 30,000 lire (about 14,000 euros). In 2010, Öztürk also won second prize at the same festival with his documentary Zaman Zaman.
