'Noordzee, Texas', Bavo Defurne's feature debut, won its fifth international award this weekend at the Miami Gay & Lesbian Film Festival. The film, which was programmed as the final attraction, was awarded the HBO Jury Prize for Best Feature Film. The film recently opened the Pink Apple Film Festival in Zurich in the run-up to the German release on May 10. The film was previously released in Great Britain and the Netherlands. The American release is planned for late summer.
