The Bosnian-German short film 'Short for Vernesa B.' by director Jons Vukorep has won the grand prize of the fifteenth Brussels Short Film Festival. The film tells the story of the Bosnian actress Vernesa B., who flees to Germany during the war to practice her profession. A special mention from the jury went to the French short film 'Junior' by Julia Ducournau. The audience award went to the American film 'Curfew' by Shawn Christensen.
