The Flemish TV channel Canvas will receive more airtime from May 14. Canvas will broadcast daily from 2 p.m. Until now, Canvas only started at 8 p.m. and shared a channel with children's channel Ketnet. Ketnet will move to a new third TV network from May 1. The Flemish public broadcaster wants to broadcast more news and current affairs on Canvas. In the afternoon there is a 100-second news bulletin every hour. Programming will also be interrupted more often in the event of major news.
