Water board Vallei en Eem is looking for the owner of holiday films that were dredged from streams in Renkum in Gelderland. The so-called 8mm films were in an antique money box from the 17th century, the shelf announced on Thursday. The water board is working on the restoration of the Renkum streams. Because there was heavy fighting in this area at the end of the Second World War, the bottoms of the streams were first searched for remaining war equipment. During the dredging work, the cash box containing the films surfaced.
