The first feature film by 38-year-old Walloon filmmaker David Lambert, 'Hors les Murs', is one of the seven films included in the program of the Cannes Semaine de la Critique side section. Lambert has a history as a co-writer of a range of Belgian and French films. His first short film, 'Vivre encore un peu', dates from 2009 and was shown at the Cannes Film Festival. Judging from the synopsis, 'Hors les murs' is a tragic romance. The Semaine de la Critique is committed to discovering young talent.
