Brussels-listed media group RTL has a new chairman for its board of directors. That would not seem like drastic news, if it were not for the fact that the new chairman goes by the name Thomas Rabe. Rabe is already the CEO and chairman of the German media group Bertelsmann, which owns 92.3 percent of RTL. Analysts see this as another sign that a buyout bid for RTL is approaching.
