French comics legend Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius, passed away this morning at the age of 74.
Jean Giraud had the power to adapt his drawing style to the genre he wanted to tell. It ranged from extremely realistic and detailed drawings (Blueberry) to almost the clear line style of Hergé (L'Etoile). Giraud also contributed to the design of several films such as Alien, The Abyss, Willow, Tron and The Fifth Element (where the Moebius style was very present).
