Within the American film industry, most films are made for money. Because everything revolves around money, many directors are often no longer able to do their own thing. And that is what makes Bullhead director Michaƫl Roskam shudder. "My voice has to be heard. I have to be able to do that as if I were the one telling it. I try to make films that are unique." The Flemish Oscar-nominated director is clear to interested producers in LA: "You don't touch my voice. That's it. If you touch it, I walk."
