The Flemish government is working on establishing an economic film fund to strengthen the fabric of the Flemish film industry. The Flemish sector has been asking for some time that an economic film fund should be created in addition to the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF). The Flemish initiative would be similar to the Wallimage fund in French-speaking Belgium.
