On the opening evening of the International Film Festival Rotterdam, the Filmkrant presented a completely new design. The oldest and largest film magazine in the Netherlands will now appear in a slightly smaller, but more manageable and thicker format. “More space for the content,” writes editor-in-chief Dana Linssen in the editorial of the new issue. The new design is by Bart Oosterhoorn. Despite the smaller size, he still explicitly refers to newspaper design, using some typical American newspaper letters.
