Two Belgian productions and a Belgian-Spanish co-production have won prizes at the 25th Festival International des Programs Audiovisuels (FIPA) in Biarritz, France. In the 'Creative Documentaries' section, the golden Fipa was for "L'île déserte" by Steve Thielemans. In the same category was the silver Fipa for "The Kingdom of Mr. Edhi" by Amélie Saillez, a Belgian-Spanish co-production. The Michel Mitrani prize was for "Grande Hotel", a documentary feature film by Lotte Stoops. Jean Libon and Marco Lamensch received a Fipa for their entire career.
