The 'Youth Festival' is the most important festival for the better youth and children's films in Flanders and this year the focus is on music and special film sounds. The music of Amon Tobin was used in the Belgian short film Esther's. The toddler films De cricket and Ssst have live accompaniment on violin or piano. The Flying Machine should not be missing from this musical film list, a film with the world-famous pianist Lang Lang where animation and live action are interwoven to the music of Chopin. The jury of the festival includes Bernard Gerrit (Burny) Bos from the leading Dutch production house BosBros, Marta Raventos, from the Spanish children's film festival 'El Meu Primer Festival', the Belgian producer Yves Ringer and Tine Van Dycke, the director of Turquaze Kadir Balci.
