The third channel of the VRT will start on May 1. Ketnet will then broadcast on a separate channel. The broadcaster announced this today. With the new management agreement between the VRT and the Flemish government, the broadcaster can have three full-fledged TV channels at its disposal. This allows Canvas and Ketnet to broadcast on separate channels. Ketnet is thus protected from sports broadcasts and other broadcasts on the second channel, which sometimes made the children's network unavailable in the past.
