According to the 4,000 fans and followers of Vlaamsefilm.be, Matthias Schoenaerts is both Best Actor and Flemish Film Personality. The best Flemish film of 2011 by a wide margin is 'Rundskop' by Michaël R. Roskam. The international success of the film was further recognized as the Flemish Film Event of 2011, while it was also voted Most Artistic Film of 2011. Roskam himself won the title of Best Director and Discovery of the year.
