An estimate by the Flemish Audiovisual Fund (VAF) aims for 1.65 million cinema visitors for Flemish film this year. Less than the record year 2010, but still impressive in a shrinking cinema market. To list all festival selections and prizes for Flemish films in 2011, even a full newspaper page would not be large enough.
