The European website EUscreen.eu, an internet platform on which audiovisual material from 18 European archives can be viewed, was presented in Brussels on Wednesday.
The website provides access to the collected European television history. Thousands of videos and images are available online for free and new ones are added every day. The collection is part of the European digital library Europeana. By 2015, that library must present no fewer than 15 million digital objects on www.europeana.eu.
