May 22 won the Grand Prize, the Golden Owl, at the 25th edition of the Leeds International Film Festival (3-20 Nov) in Great Britain. Koen Mortier's film beat out 11 other titles that were shown in the Official Competition. In addition to the prestigious award, Leeds also celebrated its 25th festival selection on 22 May. Furthermore, the film will soon be released in both France and Germany.
