The much-awarded Rundskop has to give up on Le gamin au vélo by the Dardenne brothers from Liège: Michael R. Roskam's film starring Matthias Schoenaerts did not make it to the final selection of the nominations for the European Film Awards. Le gamin au vélo has been nominated four times, in the categories of best film, director, actress (Cécile de France) and screenplay.
